Do I need to understand my numbers before working with you?
Not at all. Most of the women I work with come to me feeling overwhelmed, confused or embarrassed about their numbers. You don't need to have anything figured out first. That's exactly what we work through together: in plain English, without judgement.
I already have a bookkeeper or accountant. Is this different?
Yes. Your bookkeeper records what's happened. Your accountant handles compliance — tax, reporting, the numbers that are behind you. OYBN sits alongside both of them, helping you understand what your numbers are actually telling you right now — so you can make calmer decisions and feel less alone with the financial side of your business. It's a team approach, and it works.
I've been avoiding my numbers for a while. Is it too late to start?
It's never too late and you wouldn't be the first. Avoidance is one of the most common things I see in capable, successful business owners. The numbers don't judge how long it's been. We simply start from where you are.
What if my finances are in worse shape than I think?
This is one of the most common fears and here's what I've found: understanding what's really happening is almost always less frightening than the uncertainty of not knowing. We look at it together, calmly, and focus on what to do next. Not perfection. Just clarity.
